Nowadays, $500 is a very good price for a Colt Woodsman, in factory original condition. I agree with the Colt factory engineer, that John referenced though. The H-S's were much more capable then the Colts. The buying public agreed with that, to such an extent. That Colt abandoned the Woodsman and it's other .22's in the late 70's.
