Though the amount of fuel pumps have are so insanely high it will most likely never realistically run out. #1.Just use your generator sparingly for now. Without mods, you'll only get it searching. With mods, you can use the generator to turn on a gas station and get gas ( it's not infinite ! Siphon gas from nearby cars to put into the generator, then take the generator to the gas station and turn it on to power the pumps and take more fuel. Bring plenty of fuel canisters so you don’t have to do it often! You can power the pumps with the generator. You do need to read the how to use generator magazine if you haven't already.
