Then turn on the key and turn on the dash switch and see if the door will work. Just tried this procedure, with no change. Apparently, one motor shuts the door and another separate mechanism sort of grabs it and latches it. Mine did the same thing. Honda IMMEDIATELY ordered the dealer to replace the whole passenger sliding door latch assembly. Honda FEDEX'd the new part and it was a done deal within 30 hours. I checked and the door closes properly and the only way to stop the beeping is to turn off the power to the sliding doors from the dashboard.
